Ohen Group Green Initiatives

Going Green

Sustainability is built into everything we do. Large companies like ours usually have high consumption while paying little attention to our environment. Here at Ohen Group, we continuously strive to protect our planet and reduce our carbon footprint by implementing a variety of different logistics and innovative development. 

At Ohen Group, we have eliminated 98% of all paper other companies our size would usually use. Our digital systems run seamlessly and allow for a fully online experience in house and with our customers. From Earth Day 2022, we will no longer provide packing slips or calibration certificates in our shipments. Rather, we provide these digitally with a password protected digital calibration certificate for enhanced security.

01 Paperless

All our marketing is done through online channels meaning there is no excess waste of printing, paper, billboards or disposable materials. We have a digital version of our business cards for all employees which are supported by Apple and can be shared to other iPhone or Apple Watch users. Double click your 'on' button to bring up Apple Wallet and view our business card. For android users, we have to resort to pieces of cardboard.

02 Marketing

We have eliminated as much plastic as we can and our packaging is now 95% paper. All fillers are 100% recycled paper.


Our Depost Refund Scheme allows returns of reusable product packaging for a discount on your next purchase. So keep your glass packaging safe and well looked after until you see us again. Damaged bottles / lids can be returned to us to sustainably recycle or donate.

03 Packaging

Have an older unit? Bring it in for an evaluation and trade it in on a new unit. We recycle, reuse or donate these older units.


Sustainably dispose of products. Everything has a lifespan. Our Ohen units are designed to be valuable for decades but this means they may no longer fall into our trade-up program. Return these to us to be sustainably recycled. Our accessories have a shorter lifespan and these too can be returned to be disposed. All unwanted, old products in working condition are donated.

04 Trade-in

Our head office and our plant both run on 100% renewable energy sources.

With fuel and shipments, bulk is better. We apply this mindset to all our logistics and consolidate shipments where possible. Additionally, you can help us out and order our cosmetics in bulk to reduce transit emissions.

Our production uses no chemicals and very little water. All water that is used in production is clean, uncontaminated and rerouted to nature, watering our gardens and surrounding area instead of going down the drain.

05 Emissions

A large part of our research into new and improved products, suppliers and logistics is based on environmental factors. Our Ohen Model 5 is designed to have a very low energy consumption. When not in use, it will automatically power off completely. The Ohen Model 5 also uses very little oxygen to produce highly concentrated, medical ozone meaning that cylinder refills need only happen approximately every 2 to 3 months reducing transit emissions and the electricity used to refill a cylinder.

A Differentiation Focus

Ohen Group is based around one product. Just one. Our focus, technical developments and source of great success is our ozone units. Our foundation. All our time and resources are dedicated on research and development, extending our extensive knowledge base and connecting doctors, therapists, specialists and individuals all around the world. How can we improve the form factor? How can we make it more ergonomically efficient? How can we design a product that is high quality medical grade that can be used by doctors and clinics? And how can we make this product accessible and affordable to everyone everywhere? 

Manufacture and Sale

We only sell products we can fully rely on. We source the best, most efficient and high quality components from suppliers across Europe. Our contract manufacturers assemble with meticulous accuracy and attention to detail before exporting the Ohen units to our distribution centre and pickup points. The time it takes one unit to be manufactured, inspected, tested and calibrated is tedious but worth it. This does mean that we can only import a handful of units to each country every month but we can guarantee quality rather than quantity keeping our product of the highest possible standard. Our accessories and non-essentials are sourced locally in the country of purchase to reduce our carbon footprint. 

Our product doesn't end there; an integral part of our product is the service and support. We control the servicing of our product through the hiring of qualified technicians with extensive experience. Our support staff are trained to understand the full extent of our product to offer the most reliable, insightful assistance and at the end of the product lifecycle, we manage the return, recycling, repurposing or donating of old units (although some are still using their units for over 10 years).


Our focus on support and customer service goes hand in hand with the product we sell. Creating an integrative, information rich experience is what we strive for. We don't just sell a product, we sell our knowledge, time and expertise in the field. No customer should be investing in a product to better their health without fully understanding and learning about ozone therapy. Knowledge is power and we have a wealth of doctors and specialists to provide this knowledge. Whether you are in need of a unit for general health improvement or a more serious condition, our excellent team is ready to support you, guide you in your home treatments and answer any questions.

Clean Water and Sanitisation

In 2020, 2 billion people lack safe drinking water. Our new Ohen 4.1 has been tested to provide safe drinking water. Water that may be contaminated with micro-organisms and potentially unfit for human consumption can be drunk after treating it with ozone produced by our Ohen units.

Affordable and Clean Energy

Our head office runs on 100% renewable energy. Our products are developed to use the minimum amount of power as possible. Our latest Ohen 5 is designed to ergonomically cool itself without any additional energy input and uses 50% less energy than the previous model.

Decent Work and Economic Growth

In the advancing world of work, individuals are preferring zero hour contract work with an increasing demand for freelance work. We do not employ through inflexible employment contracts but rather opt to develop relationships with highly skilled individuals who will work on projects with us in their own time and around their own schedules.

We contribute to continuous research and development, paving the way for advancements in our niché ozone therapy industry. Our manufacturing and production have been unaffected by the COVID-19 pandemic as we continue to support our suppliers. 

Responsible Consumption and Production

We aim to source many of our materials responsibly. Our production and assembly uses 100% renewable energy and any water used is not contaminated and we return it to nature. We avoid plastics wherever we can; all our packaging is 95% paper and all fillers are 100% recycled paper. Returns, damages and disposed products returned to us are either refurbished, reused, recycled or donated. We offer and encourage customers who have outdated or unwanted products to return them to us rather than throwing them away.

Life Below Water and on Land

While we don't have a direct impact on life on land and in our oceans, we are aware as any company that what we do affects our beautiful planet. We are careful in what we use in our products and how our products get disposed of. All our operations are free from harmful chemicals and toxic materials creating products and packaging that is less harmful at end of life. Our throw-away packaging has been reduced by up to 30% and we avoid plastic as much as we can.

We promote a peaceful and inclusive society through our community we are continuously building. Accessibility is one of our values and we provide this through our immense network of ozone and health practitioners, doctors and customers.
